Nathan Lane spoofs ‘Eclipse’ trailer on Letterman

Lane went onto Late Show With David Letterman and brought this video clip from Eclipse. Only, he added a little something of his own performance as “the vampire kids’ cranky next-door neighbor.”

About his performance, Lane joked that “they liked it so much that I’ve been asked to do the next six Twilight films . . . it’s a pivotal but small role.”

In the clip, Lane interrupts the infamous meadow sequence from the picture by saying, “hey you Transylvanian freaks, get . . . off my petunias!”

Kristen Stewart talks about Eclipse’ proposal and trailer

Just yesterday, it was announced that the first trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse would be seen at the theatrical opening of Robert Pattinson’s Remember Me (of course, this isn’t the only venue through which fans will be able to see the trailer – in fact, more details are expected to be released about other opportunities to view the trailer), and fans are eager to see what the trailer holds.

According to MTV, Kristen Stewart already has a few ideas about what she’d like to see in it.

“There’s a really cool thing that happens on a cliff with Jacob that should definitely be in there . . . Battle stuff. I would say the [newborn vampires]. The newborns are going to look awesome.”

Stewart also talked to MTV about one of the more anticipated sequences in the film story, the proposal scene.

“I didn’t want to look stupid. I didn’t want it to look like kids getting married. You know what I mean?” “I wanted to be, like, ‘Oh! Wow! I would say yes too!’ You know what I mean? So I don’t know how you do that. You try to do it for real, and it felt good. I hope it turned out alright.”

Eclipse’ NECA toys on the way

The makers of the Twilight line of toys at NECA have teamed with MTV to provide a behind-the-scenes look at the coming line of dolls for The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and, in discussing the line-up, they revealed the company’s plans for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

Namely, they revealed a plan to bring some more of the Twilight series ladies into play, including “Rosalie” and “Victoria.” “We’re really getting deeper into the breadth of the characters,” NECA’s spokesperson states.

Note that the New Moon dolls included in the line are two versions of Edward (one sparkly and one non-sparkly), a shirtless Jacob, and Jasper.

So, here’s a question. Since NECA is clearly trying to incorporate more of the Twilight series’ characters in their line, are there any you hope to see in the coming line-ups? If so, which ones and why?
