Michael Sheen ‘will likely return’ for ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’

Adding the list of actors who have expressed an interest in returning for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn is Michael Sheen, who portrayed “Aro” in The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
Apparently, despite the fact that his resume spans two decades, his daughter Lily has only just become a fan of his work. Prior to New Moon, Sheen had done Frost/Nixon, The Queen, The Damned United, the Underworld series, and more, but Lily didn’t quite fit the demographic of viewership for those projects.
“Having spent years and years doing films in which she had no interest in whatsoever, either because she couldn’t watch them because they’re too scary, or she didn’t want to watch them because they’re too boring,” Sheen says, “now to be able to do films that are slam-bang in the middle of what she’s interested in, it’s fantastic for me as a dad.”
It seems that this growing tradition will continue, too, if Sheen reprises his role in Breaking Dawn. As you know, only a portion of the “Volturi” is present in Eclipse, and “Aro” is not one of those who journey to Forks, Washington in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Some worried that with the absence of certain characters in Eclipse some of the actors might move on and not return for Breaking Dawn. Of course, the same was true for Sarah Clarke (“Renee”) from Twilight who was not present in New Moon but did indeed come back for Eclipse.

Happy Birthday Michael Sheen!

Today, The Twilight Saga: New Moon star Michael Sheen (“Aro”) turns forty-one years young!
Sheen was added to the New Moon cast last year, and, intially, many were concerned about his appearance fitting the bill for “Aro.” Graciously, Sheen revealed on several occasions that his daughter, too, took the same issue with his casting.
Michael Sheen quickly won Twilight fans over, though, with his generous use of Twitter to update fans on filming information for New Moon as it happened, particularly with regard to the features of the elusive and unrevealed Volturi.
Sheen is also featured in the near-to-release Alice In Wonderland as the “White Rabbit,” and he’ll also work on Tron Legacy and Underworld 4 this year. He is widely regarded as a genuine gentleman.
So, happy birthday Michael Sheen!

‘Twilight’ stars light up IMDb’s Top 100 of 2009 listing

All year long, the coveted top spot on IMDB’s STARmeter has belonged to two of Twilight’s leading actors. Since the release of Twilight, Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart have been balancing up and down on the list. Recently, the 2009 edition of the STARmeter came out and with no surprise Robert Pattinson made number one and Kristen Stewart came in right behind him in second.
It’s obvious that this movie has made a huge impact on many of the star’s careers because a lot of the cast seemed to have made the list. Taylor Lautner took the number five spot, and Dakota Fanning placed eighth on the list. Beyond the top ten list, too, there is a lot of Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon cast representation. Ashley Greene is number eleven; Nikki Reed holds down the fifteenth spot; Jackson Rathbone came in at twenty-six; Peter Facinelli is thirty-seventh; Kellan Lutz came in at thirty-nine; Michael Sheen is forty-fifth; and Cam Gigandet is at number sixty.
Just got to give the Twilight cast a round of applause!
